An enjoyable period drama about the growing up and loves of a group of sisters in 1800's America. Superb acting from the cast and a great depiction of the presentation of the era, although it is all a bit too clean and idyllic at times. There isn't a strong single plot but instead a selection of events which are interesting enough and never dull, although it can feel a bit jumbled at times due to all the flashbacks.

The linear structure is really easy to grasp if you pay attention. Maybe you sneezed or was playing on your phone for a bit or looked down while eating your snacks or went on a potty break.

The two timelines made the movie so refreshing! A remake that makes me forget it's a remake. Every one on this production team deserves an Oscar nomination. Greta did it again. Pugh was not believable as a child but was great as the adult Amy. Laura was a great mom! Timothée played a great Laurie! Emma was a great Meg! Eliza was a great Beth! Saoirse was a super great Jo! Watch this great movie, you'll be rewarded with tears, laughters, and hugs.
Emma Watson is honestly one of the most inspiring women Ive ever listen to talking. She inspires me to be the best version of myself I could possibly be. From how youve described the structure of the biopic, it sounds like they couldnt get the rights to 90% of her life story. The part where Timothée said whatever you like, I found it adorable. 😁. I love that I just randomly stumbled on your channel. I just binged watched so many of these videos I feel like I'm learning so much lol.
I found it too slow, not mucb happening, Only towards the end it picked up. There's just something so alluring about Saoirse... You have to do another version of this but with the new adaptation it would be amazing! 😍. 1994 is my favorite version in general. Interesting, I remember that speech, looking at it now maybe a huge reaction from someone who has been manipulated.
